Into the Abyss and the Five Children

This is my story: A long time ago, when Mariana creatures (those living under the sea) mingled with Aslanda creatures (those living in the land), they made a compact that both will take care of the magical scepter (a long decorated stick that is carried by a king or queen) that holds the opening of the gate into the deep sea. The magical scepter was kept by Pellucida, daughter of King Eunecid.

Aslanda was led by Chieftain Tudah with his son Cumbo as his trusted warrior. Aslanda people were forbidden to hold and see the secret scepter kept by Pellucida, as it will close the gate connecting the Marianas to the Aslandas. Marianas and Aslandas have an in-depth understanding of their own language through the magical power of the scepter that opened their minds for communication. They could barter whatever things they have in their kingdom and so with the humans. For so long ago people have explored the vast depths of the oceans, they were allowed to visit the Mariana’s Kingdom and were allowed to explore the beauty that lies beneath the ocean.

King Eunecid is a half man half seahorse, while Princess Pellucida is a beautiful half woman half blue jellyfish. Many underwater creatures have the ability to talk; even the Deep-sea Glass Squid can communicate using light organs on its eyes. Humans can play with the Dumbo Octopus while riding on its tentacles. The vent crab would always do the clapping when it was happy. The brittle starfish always act as a blindfold to human eyes when they like to play the hide and seek game. The Hagfish was always helping humans on their house chores by cleaning the house backyards. The deep-sea lizardfish would always have fun racing with humans to get into the bottom of the sea. The deep-sea giant sea spider would always be hanging around with women who like to stitch out a cloth covering for the dining table. The eelpout fish would always be found playing with its thick-lipped and kissing children he met along the way. But the monstrous of all underwater creatures was the Ogrefish with its fangtooth and muscular body could chase down the humans. King Eunecid had put the Ogrefish locked inside a dark cave under high pressures, freezing water, and where sunlight could not pass through into its deepest.

The Ogrefish had a bad intention of stealing the scepter to Princess Pellucida, and to make this expose to human eyes, as envy grew inside its heart against Aslandas and Marianas, the Ogrefish wished to get the scepter in order to close the door for the humans and to look at Mariana Kingdom as their new King. There was one secret friend of the Ogrefish who would like to set him free, it was the Darth Vader Jellyfish with its 4 tentacles and 12 stomach pouches. It usually swam holding out its poisoned tentacles in front and could melt even the strongest steel bars. The Darth Vader Jellyfish secretly managed to go into the deepest cave where the Ogrefish was held captive and using its tentacles melted down the steel bars blocking the way out. The Ogrefish had escaped and immediately visited Princess Pellucida, and by force got the scepter from her hands. The Ogrefish swam his way above the sea and exposed the scepter to Aslandas. Upon the Aslandas saw the scepter with their own eyes, a whirlpool suddenly appeared, and sucked all the water down the seabed, but before the whirlpool closed, Cumbo got a chance to grab the scepter from the Ogrefish, and leaving the once vast ocean into a dried terrain.

For a long time, the Mariana Kingdom was gone and been separated from the Aslandas. But the hope to see the Mariana Kingdom was possible upon the scepter’s power which Cumbo had kept.

Many years have passed, and so Cumbo died from sickness, along with his grave, the scepter was kept. Not until one fateful day, a group of paleographers and cryptologists arrived where Cumbo’s grave was unearthed.  Pio and Malka were paleographers (one who study ancient writing), while JD, Joakim, and Incredible Hulk were known to be cryptologists (people who work with secret codes). These five children were gifted and been working with secret codes, and studying the most complex and difficult code found on earth. They knew about the scepter and must know how to decode the secret message etched into the scepter in order to open again the door for the Kingdom of Mariana.

Pio and Malka studied the ancient writing,  and discovered that what was inscribed in the scepter were the Vinca symbols, it conveyed a message and needed to be deciphered. Pio and Malka turned over their findings to JD, Joakim, and Incredible Hulk to study the codes or the symbols written on the scepter. Pio and Malka told them that some symbols were referring to sea creatures; a light referring to the sun and moon; and a tomb’s secret passage for light. JD, Joakim, and Incredible Hulk translated the symbols that in order to open the gate to Mariana Kingdom was to find a preserved fossil of sea creatures that lived from that period, and from that fossil they will extract oil from it, and to put it at the top of Cumbo’s grave, and wait until the Sun enters the small hole of the tomb to heat it, and later to flow freely inside the scepter,  and at night let the Moon’s light penetrates the secret hole to the tomb to fuel the oil inside it, and to reveal the secret code to open the Mariana Kingdom.  Pio, Malka, JD, Joakim, and Incredible Hulk prepared themselves to expect the unexpected; they followed as what the symbols were telling them what to do. Carefully they followed the steps, and when the proper time for the Moon to light up the oil, the scepter suddenly glowed and emitted a light back to the moon and to redirect it back to the ground. The light that hit the ground split it, and water afterward flowed filling the vast terrain into almost a wide sea. 

Pio just saw the Deep-Sea Lizardfish and jumped on his head ready to play the hide and seek game. Malka met the Brittle Starfish and acted as a blindfold to her eyes. JD saw Dumbo Octopus and touched him with its tentacles, Joakim met the Hagfish and started to help him cleaning the ground, and Incredible Hulk met the Eelpout fish and started kissing him on his cheeks.

The five children began talking with the sea creatures, and they just found out that King Eunecid and Princess Pellucida were held captive by the Ogrefish. The sea creatures told them that they were held locked inside the cave. Pio was holding the scepter as the key to enter the Kingdom of Mariana, and the five children used this to save the King and the Princess. Holding the scepter was not impossible for the five children to go to the deepest of the ocean, and they could breathe just like other sea creatures. The five children reached the deepest of the sea and saw the cave where the king and the princess were held. But all of a sudden the Ogrefish and Darth Vader Jellyfish have appeared on the five children stopping them to free the king and the princess. Pio using the scepter pointed to the Ogrefish and the Darth Vader Jellyfish emitting a flash of light that could make them blind. The flash of light from the scepter just blinded the Ogrefish and the Darth Vader Jellyfish making them helpless but to surrender to the five children. King Eunecid and Princess Pellucida were at long last freed again from the Ogrefish and Darth Vader Jellyfish. Kind Eunecid and Princess Pellucida thanked the five children and gave each of them a black pearl as their way of thanking them. From then on the Kingdom of Mariana and the human beings were reunited once again. The five children were given access to the underwater castle of King Eunecid and Princess Pellucida. The five children were very happy to mingle with the sea creatures and to play with them at all times. THE END.

Part 3: The Genie in the Bottle and the Five Children

This is the continuation: As Gestner kept floating in the sea, unsuspected to Genie and the five children, Gestner had still one potion in his pocket. Gestner used this potion to counter-attack JD’s signal mirror’s code and easily helped him to pass through the bottle as white smoke. Gestner succeeded in escaping inside the bottle. Gestner flew into the air to look for Genie and the five children to get his revenge.

Outside the open field, Genie and the five children were talking, when Genie suddenly remembered a way to bring back his power, and that was to travel back to his past, and the only way to do this was through the powers that he gave to the five children. Genie could use Pio’s binocular to find the exact location of the Minkowski time-space in order to move him in between different points in space for traveling backward in time. Genie could even use Malka’s flashlight to light his way inside the dark time-space. He took a small piece of JD’s signal mirror to use this as his way of communicating back to the five children. Genie told JD to use his signal mirror to send code that will locate the trace of the space he occupied in the past. Genie could also use Joakim’s flares to burst a bright flame as an advance signal to locate his past. Genie planned to go back to the past to stop Krosant in doing his dagger, and the potion that would get his power; likewise this would also prevent Gestner for knowing what Krosant’s secret in formulating the potion at that exact time. He needed to be there ahead of Gestner and before Krosant could build his dagger and the potion. And so Genie got inside the time-space to travel back in time.

Gestner located the five children, and he threatened them that if they will not help him to go inside the time-space, they will be put inside the bottle. The five children scared of Gestner’s threat have no other option but to help him to get inside the time-space.

Genie safely arrived in the past and quickly managed to stop Krosant in doing his dagger and the potion. In doing this, Genie’s power has returned back. Along the time-space, Gestner was still traveling, while all the time has changed, and when Gestner arrived there, it was too late for him to stop Genie, and he did not see what Krosant did for his dagger and the potion. All because Genie has turned back the time, Gestner could not found the dagger and the potion.

Both Genie and Gestner were trapped in the past, and could not return back to the future. Genie just sent a message to JD’s signal mirror that he could not return back anymore, that he was safely back on his time with all his power returned back. All Genie would like the five children to feel was his overwhelming appreciation for what the five children did to help him, and will not forget them as long as he lives. So even before the invention of the cell phone, the five children were using a signal mirror to send a message to Genie about what was happening to them. Genie and the five children even separated by time have still a way to communicate with each other. THE END.

Part 2: The Genie in the Bottle and the Five Children

This is the continuation: As the Genie and the five children were separated with each other; only the signal mirror of JD will be their way of communication as it signals a code where one is in danger and needs help. Beyond the knowledge of the Genie and the five children, there was one man from the past that belongs to the time of Genie and Krosant that had survived the call of time; his name was Gestner, he was the helper of Krosant, and knew about the potion that Krosant’s dagger had. Gestner also knew one potion that Krosant had invented; this potion could help anyone to live a longer life if swallowed, so he stole this potion with Krosant before Krosant died in the battle. Gestner also knew that potion could take the Genie’s power, once Krosant’s dagger glistened with light; the potion will be released, and when inhaled by Genie, it will suck Genie’s power and be transferred to the one holding the dagger.

Gestner had searched for the missing dagger; he had followed the last trace where Genie was found by the five children. Gestner knew that only on that island where the five children had found Genie could be where he could find Krosant’s dagger. Gestner went to the isolated island and using his mind power, he had located Krosant’s dagger beneath the deep sea. Now the dagger was in Gestner’s possession, the only way to get Genie’s power was to put this lying beside Genie when he falls into sleep, and let the light glistened to emit the potion that would suck the power from within Genie’s body.

Gestner had searched for Genie, he traveled to different places and using his mind power, he finally located where Genie was living. Gestner waited until he got the perfect time to lay the dagger beside Genie’s body.

From the remote place where the five children were situated, JD’s signal mirror had received a code from Genie’s exact location, and it was sending a code that Genie was in big danger. JD told this to Pio, Malka, Joakim, and Incredible Hulk that anytime Genie will be killed by his oppressor. So without wasting any time, Pio, Malka, JD, Joakim, and Incredible Hulk flew to the place where the code was signaling from JD’s signal mirror.

They arrived in the place, but it was too late; Gestner had prevailed from his bad intention to the Genie. The five children found Genie lying on the bed too weak to stand up because the dagger had taken away all his powers. Pio using his binocular found a safe place where they could bring Genie and ask for help. Malka using her flashlight sent a dancing polar light in the sky to help Genie revived his strength. JD used his signal mirror to send the code to Krosant’s dagger to stop transferring the power into thy hand’s thief but rather alter the potion into a curse that whosoever have it will be trapped inside the bottle forever more, and no summoner will ever find him. Joakim using his flare brightened up the evening, and that lively light has made Genie wake up. Incredible Hulk using his strength tried to carry Genie to the place where Pio’s binocular had searched where they could hide Genie from Gestner. The good fellowship that the five children extended to help Genie only proved that Genie was not wrong of choosing them to be the rightful owner of the special gift that he gave away.

From the hiding place of Gestner, the thief was rejoicing for he knew that anytime when Krosant’s dagger glistened again, it will transfer Genie’s power into his body, but he never knew that JD’s signal mirror had sent a code that will alter the potion into a curse, that would put him inside the bottle and be trapped forever more without any summoner to free him again. Krosant’s dagger glistened, and while it glistened, slowly the light transformed Gestner’s body into a white smoke and put him inside the bottle. Gestner inside the bottle was taken away by the big sea waves and was battling the wave’s commotion every day and night without an assurance of finding his freedom again.

Genie lived a normal life without his power anymore. The five children: Pio, Malka, JD, Joakim, and Incredible Hulk, have wholeheartedly accepted Genie as part of their family. They lived as free as to where the wind blows. THE END.

The Genie in the Bottle and the Five Children

This is my story: Long before when pirates and genies were acquainted with each other, they made good jokes all day long. One pirate named Krosant, who was an alchemist and a fortuneteller, created a chemical to mix in materials for doing a special bottle. Any spirit like the genie could be trapped inside unless the cork been removed from the outside. The pirate Krosant and his friend genie once tried to prove their special talents. Each will show their hidden talents. The genie agreed with Krosant. Genie asked Krosant if he could hit the apple from the tree using his dagger. Krosant immediately drew out his dagger and flung it to the direction of the apple, the apple dropped on the ground, Krosant proved his talent. Now Krosant asked the genie to show his talent, he asked genie if he could go inside the small bottle. Genie has to prove his guts, but before genie went inside, Krosant gave his dagger to genie as a gift. Genie had the power to transform into anything, in order to get inside the bottle, genie transformed into white smoke to get inside the bottle, while Krosant with bad intention immediately covered the bottle with a cork. Now Krosant asked the genie if he could get out from the bottle, but with all his efforts proved to be useless because of the secret chemical that Krosant had mixed in molding that bottle. Krosant was impressed by his invention and would not let genie come out, and from then on genie was trapped inside the bottle, but Krosant left a promise for his friend genie, that he will give him another gift, a chance to escape. But this gift was not in his possession but on other’s hand--his summoner, that in the future five children will remove the cork to free him, but genie will never know who these five children are. Only time could tell. Krosant also told genie that once freed, genie must grant wishes for the five children as a gesture of appreciation. Krosant tossed the bottle into the sea, and the sea has been its bed. For so many years the sea waves brought the bottle with the genie to travel many places finding for his fate. Krosant fought many battles and died in one battle he had encountered.

One fateful day, five children namely: Pio, Malka, JD, Joakim and Incredible Hulk were sailing in the Pacific ocean, they were training to sail a sailboat in preparation for the mainsail race. A gusty storm brought down their sails causing the boat to stop, the five children managed to reach the nearby island, and when they safely landed on the shore, Pio noticed a bottle half sank on the sand, he picked it up and saw a mysterious man inside the bottle and was waving and pointing upwards, like telling him to pull out the cork, Pio called Malka, JD, Joakim and Incredible Hulk to look at what he found. Malka out of curiosity, pulled out the cork letting the man inside to come out, as white smoke gradually forming into a burly young man holding Krosant’s dagger as a recollection of Krosant’s treachery to him. The genie was so triumphant that after being stuck inside the bottle since Krosant’s betrayal, he spoke to the five children, “As my way of appreciation, I am granting you five wishes,” said by Genie.

Pio knew that Malka had lost her flashlight; Malka knew that Pio lost his binocular; JD knew that Joakim lost his flares; Joakim knew that JD lost his signal mirror, while Incredible Hulk knew nothing at all.

Pio had wished for the genie to bring back Malka’s lost flashlight, the genie granted it. Malka wished that Pio’s binoculars be restored; the genie gave it to Pio. JD had wished for Joakim’s flares and it was granted; Joakim wished for JD’s signal mirror and it was also been granted. All in all the survival gear supplies have restored into the four children. During the night, Malka used her flashlight to send a signal from the shore; Pio used his binoculars to see an approaching ship; JD used his signal mirror to send a signal from the shore, and Joakim used his flares during the night to send signal up in the sky. After a thorough and clever distress calling and signaling, a ship had found their location. Genie was happy for the four children that he noticed their cooperative endeavors in the face of danger, they did not ask for an easy way out; instead, they used their skills and not just wishing to the genie to pop them out from the isolated island. The asking for their needed survival kit to find a way out proved that helping each other is the best tool to survive. The four children impressed genie by what they have shown, so genie gave them a special gift to bring, and it was rare of its kind, a golden binocular that would always find a safe place was given to Pio; a flashlight emitting a dancing polar light display in the sky was given to Malka; a signal mirror that transmits sound and code was given to JD; and a flare blazing light that would last the whole night was given to Joakim. The four children were happy to receive their gifts from genie, while they boarded in the rescue ship, the four children tapped Incredible Hulk’s shoulder telling him that it was all right if he did not receive anything from genie, what they have also belonged to him and nothing could stop them in sharing what they have to Incredible Hulk.  The genie with his freedom enjoyed a normal life outside the bottle. He returned back to his hometown, but could not see anymore his old friends, he tossed Krosant’s dagger into the sea to forget everything. The End.
