The Image in the Mirror

When I stepped in front of the mirror
I saw myself staring back at me and to the door
I raised my hand and say “hi”
And then it's lunch time and bid goodbye

While brushing my teeth, I looked again at the mirror
Preparing to go to bed, praying not to dream of any horror
I read my book and grab my sketchbook
And afterward, I hang it on a hook

I went to pray with the cross
And even putting a red rose
I looked back at the mirror
The image is blurred; sleepy as it appears
